I got my travel document within 6 months and then my Green Card in 6 months, making the whole Green Card application process one year in total - a very unusual but favourable timeline for green card applications. On top of all that, an immigration interview was not required by USCIS, which I understand is VERY rare. Communication was open and we were notified every step of the way about our application.
